2015+ Subaru WRX & STI Complete Manual Transmission Drivetrain Fluid Change Kit
Whether you’re doing a 30k/60k/90k mileage fluid change, or are swapping out your clutch or differential, make sure you have the gear oil on hand to complete the job! Since most GL-5 gear oils for differentials are too slippery for manual transmissions, Red Line offers these products that ensure proper shifting while providing ultimate wear protection.
Subaru recommends checking and/or changing your drivetrain fluids every 30,000 miles, and if you’re a do-it-yourselfer this is what you’ll need to get the job done.
NOTE: Make sure to use 75W90NS in the transmission/front diff and 75W90 in the rear diff. 75W90 GL-5 is not designed for use in most manual transmissions or transaxles in passenger vehicles, since the extreme slipperiness may cause synchronizer mesh issues that lead to shifting problems.
